Huston Academy

Huston Academy serves students in grades 9-12. We will operate on a new and exciting schedule in the 2018-19 school year. We will go to school Monday thru Thursday with no school days scheduled on Fridays!! We have a great plan to accommodate the academic, social, and emotional needs of of our students. Flexibility is built in and we have the answer to almost any of your scheduling needs!! We will be having a New Student Orientation Meeting for students and parents on Tuesday, July 24 at 6:00 pm in the Huston Academy cafeteria. Applications are available at Huston Academy at 680 Peach Orchard Road in the office. We would love to see you become a part of the Huston Academy Family!

2018 STAAR scores have arrived! Please visit www.TexasAssessment.com to access scores. In order to view your child's scores you will need their unique access code. This can be found by entering your child's social security number (no dashes or spaces) and date of birth through the "Lookup Code" link https://txparentportal.emetric.net/lookup-access-code. The passing standard is APPROACHES GRADE LEVEL. If you have any questions or have trouble accessing you child's report please contact Debbie Smith.

It has been a great year at Huston Academy and we prepare to graduate 28 young ladies and young men tomorrow night. We are also about to embark on an exciting new venture. For many reasons our Board of Directors has approved a plan for Huston Academy to operate on a four-days-per-week, Fridays-off schedule for the 2018-19 academic year. We are very excited about what this and look forward to putting it into action! Stay tuned in the coming days and we will let you know how you, too, can be apart of this exciting program.

It is another great day of STAAR testing at Huston Academy. We are so proud of our students and how hard they have worked to be successful this Winter and Spring!!
